Team Wendell

Yesterday, my mommy and daddy brought home my brother Bertram. My mommy told me I would always be the baby, so Bertram will be my big brother. He is 10 weeks old. Here are pictures of him.

I thought I would be more upset about this, but I guess I'm not. I just try to ignore him. He likes to follow me around and cuddle with me. But at least he knows my limits, unlike Satan (aka Zoe).

And I don't know what is up with my mommy and daddy. They seem to be smothering me more. Give me some space people!

Bertram isn't potty trained yet, so he sleeps in a playpen at night. But he cries when you first put him in there. My mommy said I didn't cry as much when I was a baby.

I just have to make sure Bertram is on Team Wendell, NOT Team Zozo.

Wendell Zen

It turns out I've been doing yoga for most of my life. I might even be a yoga master! My mommy and I found a book called Bow Wow Yoga at the thrift shop. Here are some of my favorite poses. I practice them everyday.

Here is me doing a yoga pose on my daddy.

Why Must Everyone Touch Me?!

Yesterday I went to downtown Walnut Creek with my mommy. We went to Williams Sonoma to by a mango splitter. I love mangoes. Then we went to Barnes and Noble. Everyone always comes to pet me. They don't even ask if I bite? I could be a killer! I mean it, I can be vicious. Grrrrr!
People always ask my mommy how old I am. When she tells them I am 10, they always say, "that's old." Stupid, I can hear you. And it's always the old people that say it. Stupids.
I had a bath today. I hate baths and blowdryers. But now I am clean and fluffy.

I'm Feeling Woozy

Today I had to go to my vet, Dr. Iwata, for my annual checkup. I had to get three shots and they took blood. I am heartworm free. When she was checking me, she told my mommy that everybody there gets excited when I'm going to visit because I am so funny. My mommy said it is because I don't move when I am at the vet. Whatever position they put me in, I don't move. I'm a lover, not a fighter. Passive aggression is my thing. But the good news is that I am now 16 lbs. At one point, I had gotten to 22 lbs. But my mommy put me on a low fat diet and made sure I went on a lot of walks. Fugly (aka Zoe) can't call me Fatty anymore. But she is still one pound less than me. In person she looks bigger than me because of her long hair. But she is just 15 pounds of Fugly. I hate her so much, my blood pressure is going up as I type this. That can't be good for my health.

People Need to Get their Mom and Dads to Pick up their Poopy!!!

I'm really miffed! Today, at my favorite poopy spot, I noticed that there was a lot of leftover poopy there. Moms and Dads are not picking it up! That is just rude. And I think a horse is pooping there. Because that poopy is huge. Bigger than grown ups size! Who is keeping a horse in a condo here?!? I might have to do some investigating to find out who is leaving that doo doo.

This is Satan

This is Satan, Beelzebub, Rosemary's Baby, Mephistopheles, etc. At least that is what I call her. Everybody else calls her Zoe or Zo-zo.

These are pictures of Stupid when she was a baby. She is two right now. Her birthday is Dec. 30. She is actually my aunt because she is my mommy's little sister. My mommy, daddy and I were going to my Mr. and Mrs. Diaz' house (that is what I call my grandparents) for spring break two years ago and I was looking forward to it because Mr. and Mrs. Diaz just love me. When we got there, Mr. Diaz came out holding that yucky thing. All it does all day is bother me. It paws at my face. I think she is trying to get my good eye. She lifts one of my ears and pokes inside my ear with her stupid pointy nose. And whenever I try to go up the stairs, she always blocks my way and uses her body to push me around. She is also a big Daddy's girl. She wants Mr. Diaz to carry her all the time. What a big baby!

At least when she is asleep, I get a little peace. Maybe I'll buy her some Benadryl or Nyquil.

Ugggghhh!!! It's so ugly I'm trying not to throw up as I type this. Well, bye for now.

It's Hard Being Me

Hi, my name is Wendell Wallington Bonnet Diaz-Cadish, and I am a 10 year old boy. My birthday is April 3rd. I like food (if anyone wants to send me a present). I am from southern California, but right now I live with my mommy and daddy in northern California while my mommy is in law school. A few years ago, my right eye popped out while I was playing outside. I tried to pretend nothing was wrong, but my mommy was freaking out and brought me to the doctor. They put the eye back, but now I can't see out of it. My mommy says it doesn't matter because it makes me even more precious.

My mommy says I sigh a lot. She says I have no reason to sigh because I don't have a job, don't have to pay bills and everyone just adores me. But it is definitely hard being me! My mommy and daddy are always dressing me in stupid clothes.

See what I mean. I seem happy in this picture, but I am crying inside.

My parents also hug and kiss me too much. Here is my dad hugging me.

If you look closer, you can see I am ticked off. See, life is hard for me! You might get the idea that I'm only a hater from all of the complaining I do. I like mealtimes.

This is my mealtime face. Happy!

I also like bedtime. But I don't like being bothered at bedtime. So goodnight!
